The code should look like this position: absolute!important; in the screenshot you provided it looks like this position: absolute;!important
But if you could consider waiting for a little time, all of these changes you are trying to implement regarding the header will be available by default in the pending theme update. So if the code is still not working for you, please try to remove it, since it is not working properly and wait for the next theme update which will have this implemented as an option.

Also like I suggested you should try to wait for the next theme update, when this option for the full width header will be available by default. Please consider this, and have a little more patience for the update release and this will be a feature included in Theme panel.

I have mentioned that this customization can affect other elements in the header structure, or the page layout. If you can fix this problem, the solution could interfere with other elements and so on and it could lead to many problems, not to mention the css code needed. Please have a little more patience, as I already mentioned what you are trying to achieve will be a one click option in the theme panel in the next update.

The feature you are looking for is this – https://www.screencast.com/t/zVyKjlwkq2 Just make sure you remove the code provided before from the custom css section, so it does not affect the theme in any way.
