Menu items padding

Hi.

We got a lot of menus and we would like to reduce the padding between them, on desktop and on tablet versions.
We tried this code, but it seems that padding not equal from both sides:
.sf-menu a.sf-with-ul {
padding-right: 15px;
}

Whats your suggestion about this?
Can you provide a way so that padding is reduced and search button will be centered according to whole menu? We are using style 10 header.
