I’ve just purchased Newspaper theme for a brand new site (http://www.modern-mavens.com/) and I’m still setting the site up but I ran into a few issues. Hope you can help me 🙂
1) How to get the blue line only appear below the Home button below the menu? I see from the demo site that the blue line only appears at the bottom of the Home button but mine is all the way across.
2) The main slide on the Big Slide doesn’t stretch all the way to the 3 smaller slide on the right. How do I set it? The photo size is 700px wide.
3) Sidebar only appears on the Homepage and not on the internal pages.
4) Adsense ad units only appears on internal pages. It could be because the site is brand new without much content but just in case I missed any setting that I should know, please do let me know 🙂

2. Your image width must be at least 745x483 – http://screencast.com/t/Ohpp7LDCNPwx to fill the whole container. If your featured image is smaller, please note that WordPress doesn’t enlarge images and you will need to use plugin like Thumbnail Upscale to enlarge thumbnails: https://wordpress.org/plugins/thumbnail-upscale/ For upscale use a combination of plugins Thumbnail Upscale + Force Regenerate.

4. I have checked your homepage and you have an header ad and a sidebar ad. You can use Ad box block to display an ad in your page content: http://screencast.com/t/e6XneHoo0su
Also for your post you have to paste your code in Theme Panel > Ads – http://screencast.com/t/Nlgv9TjDNTAL and they should be displayed in the article content.

Thank you so much for this!
2) Noted on the image size of 745×483. I thought it was 700px. My mistake. Sorry. I’ve input the code in Theme Panel > Custom CSS. Solve the thumbnail issue.
3) That explains it! I setup the sidebar widget in Homepage AND Widget so I was seeing double. I deleted those in Widget. I now know I should put a Widgetised Sidebar in the page content and setup my sidebar in Widget instead.
4) I’ve removed Adsense as it’s not appearing on the site. Others are fine.
5) Figured out the comment box issue yesterday. Thanks 🙂

Sorry, I ran into another issue.
Yoast SEO Titles & Metas no longer editable and the WordPress SEO meta box is no where to be found on page or post. It only appears when I change the setting in Reading > Your Latest Post.

Please check this only with Visual Composer and Seo by Yoast active(disable all other plugins) also clear cache and check the screen options when you edit a page it should be displayed – http://screencast.com/t/kr9jcYTm
