Hi, does the theme add meta description to the homepage on its own? So that it appears in Google search results? Thanks.

Hi,

You can control the meta descriptions with the Yoast SEO plugin
– https://yoast.com/meta-descriptions/
– https://kb.yoast.com/kb/yoast-wordpress-seo-titles-metas-template-variables/

If I don’t want to install Yoast, what are the default meta descriptions of the homepage and post pages?

Hi,

The theme does not have any options regarding the meta tags and meta descriptions. This tags are generated by plugins with SEO functionality, like the plugin provided above. It would be best to use this plugin to configure your website SEO, for best results in this matter.
