Hello,
I have a sports portal based on newspaper theme and it is wonderful. I also have 3-4 sites for my clients
I have found a good VPS deal and wanted to migrate all of my plesk websites to another Hosting provider.
My old has 6 CPU 8BG RAM and the new one has 8 CPU 16GB RAM.
So i used plesk migration tool and i moved all of my sites to the new VPS Host.
I have checked them all and they are working as they should expect https://sportlive.gr which is my sports portal domain.
This site is live for over 1 year now and it has thousands of post and pics, and the DB is almost 3GB!
I had a Veeeery Slow performance on the new Host and even timeouts sometimes. So changed NS records back to the old host provider and started troubleshooting the website to the new provider with a new domain name https://exclusiveweb.gr
If you check the two domains https://sportlive.gr and https://exclusiveweb.gr you will see the speed difference in the two portals. for some reason that has to do definitely with the newspaper database settings, the DB CPU performance keeps getting 100% every time a surf https://exclusiveweb.gr or it stays 0% and takes 15 seconds to open a new post!!
I want to point out that the https://exclusiveweb.gr is a CLONE of https://sportlive.gr with the same settings plugins etc etc!!!
I tried EVERYRHING in the new VPS host.
1. downgrade to an older version and then upgrading to the newspaper 11 again.
2. Disabled ALL other plugins except tagdiv
3. Delete all the past posts and pics and kept only 1 week old.
4. Optimise clean the Database!
Nothings worked , no speed at all, expect if i disable tag div plugins , then https://exclusiveweb.gr is working much faster as it should.
I even tried to create the portal from scratch and it was going well , no speed issues from a clean DB’s but when i tried to import the all posts and the images from the old portal with WordPress import tool it took forever and I had a lot of timeouts and i could not finish the migration with this tactic because the website in total is almost 45GB now!
I do not know what else to do , I am pretty sure that some tagdiv composer is causing the problem but i cannot troubleshoot it and i need your help.
Kind regards,
Michael
Hello!
I have inspected your website and from what I can see, the reason here is that you have some files that either lost their path while migrating, or they are not placed where they should. You will have to check and make sure that this errors get fixed. This should solve your issue: https://www.screencast.com/t/P711vXVBq
Please let me know the result!
Thank you!
Hello Vlad ,
thanks for the info, but these files you show me are missing also from the source https://sportlive.gr so i don’t think that is causing the problem!
Also i fix these problems in both environments but https://exclusiveweb.gr is still very slow compared to the source site!
Hi,
What you can do to improve the page speed is to solve the problems from lighthouse:
https://developers.google.com/web/tools/lighthouse
Also we have some guides that maybe will help you:

I hope this will help you!
Hello again
I am totally not covered by your answer, it seems to be a major Bug in tagdiv composer and i have identify it now that I am trying to build the staging site brick by brick, its not about cashing plugins speed etc.
I have tried in the beginning to migrate to another Vps host with plesk migrator tool, lost several days in trials and errors and DB’s 100% when I was just surfing to the new environment.
Right now its the 10th time I am importing posts (160.000) and media files etc separate to the new WordPress installation and try step by step to see what is causing the error.
When I restored the production (https://sportlive.gr) theme settings to the staging one (https://nealive.gr) i saw that when I was doing all the filtering to the categories the composer is very sensitive and if there is an overlap in the filtering it causes several errors.
Also even google pagespeed tool seemes to identify the errors https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=el&url=https%3A%2F%2Fnealive.gr%2F as you can see from this its causing FAILED_DOCUMENT_REQUEST.
So there is nothing to do with the speed, something with tagdiv is messing the whole staging enviroment to the new server!
Right now I removed all the overlaping categories filtering and kept it to just minimum and Without mobile template to check it, and at the right corner the section ΑΥΤΟΚΙΝΗΤΟ when I am placing the correct filter category “ΑΥΤΟΚΙΝΗΤΟ” its messing all website and its showing the error you can see in the google page speed tool,
When I remove the filter and leave it to all categories empty the error miraculously gone and I don’t know what else to do!
I am absolutely sure that is a bug and your devs must seen to it and tried to tackle it with all the possible ways I knew, plesk cloning, wordpress importing taxonomy per taxonomy and for SURE the error is in the homepage filtering and the tagdiv composer!!!
I am available to give you creds for the staging https://nealive.gr to investigate further!
I am very lucky the production site is working without flaws but I cannot migrate to another host I am STUCK with IT!!
I have 2 staging enviroments with the same error from google pagespeed tool
https://exclusiveweb.gr and
https://nealive.gr

https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=el&url=https%3A%2F%2Fnealive.gr%2F
It cannot be a coincidence
Hi diriras, is possible to be something that is interfering with the theme or as you said it can be a bug. We’ll love to investigate this problem and find a way to fix it, for this please sent us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and cPanel for the staging website, also please include the link of this topic and all details and screenshots you can provide, this will help us a lot!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Unfortunately, in such situations there are no simple solutions, you must immediately investigate and see what can be done depending on each site and server on which it is hosted.
If you want, you can contact us by email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will see what can be done.
Thank you!
