Missing Categories in Theme Panel

I am having a problem in which I am not seeing all the post categories in the Theme Panel Category section.

I have 67 Categories and sub-categories but can only see 55 on the theme panel category list.

I’m testing it by creating new sub-categories, but they do not show up on the theme panel categories list as well.

They also don’t seem to be in any particular order. Maybe it’s by date of category creation.

What can I do to fix this?

the main categories are order alphabetically and ascending (A – Z), then under each category you will see the subcategories order alphabetically as well.

maybe you are making subcategories.

can you try also disabling all plugins then try again.
