Missing sidebar on homepage (static, desktop) after last update

Hello! My website is https://savoriurbane.com/ After the last theme update (I did it today) some of the widgets on the sidebar disappeared so I had to put them back one by one. OK. Everything seemed fine until I edited the Homepage with TD Composer and modified only the content of some blocks (I changed the recipes according to season). When I hit save the sidebar disappeared from my Homepage but it exists on all other pages or posts (articles). See here https://www.screencast.com/t/6ZTPIGWK the empty column. How do I put the Default Sidebar here? Here are the other examples: https://www.screencast.com/t/AyMMwPb56 and https://www.screencast.com/t/vkTcSoTYNiV
In the Newspaper Theme settings all the pages, posts and the homepage have the same setting: with the sidebar on the right. See here https://www.screencast.com/t/RaVH15aC7dz9
Please give me a solution because I have to put back my ad-boxes on Homepage’s sidebar!

Same problem here. I’m also trying to figure out how to add a sidebar to my homepage. Category pages and post pages are fine. I think it has something to do with the tagdiv composer, which one used on a page, prevents us from using the sidebar on that particular page.

Please help.

I’ve noticed that the sidebar appears if I switch the Homepage from static to ‘show the latest articles’ but directly with TD Composer, not in wordpress.

Hi,

If you are using the last version of the Newspaper theme ( v9.7.3 ) there was implement some new conditions for a better compatibility with WPBakery, therefore, some elements will not be available in the tagDiv composer. This was made to prevent issues with the respective elements. The single image, widgets element, raw html… are some of them.
If you want to still have theme you need to deactivate the WPBakery plugin or replace the tdc_map.php from wp-content>plugins>td-composer>includes>tdc_map.php withe tdc_map.php from the previous version of Newspaper theme.

Thank you!
