missing sidebar

Hi
I’m new to newspaper and I can’t get the sidebar to appear on my pages.
I have set the sidebar position to right and made a custom sidebar and updated the page. but I cant se it… what am I missing?

Hello enestedt,

Please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer. Do you are using the page builder+latest articles+pagination as page template? If you are using that page template, please notice that the Sidebar will be displayed automatically for Latest Articles Modules and for your first part of your front page (page builder content) you will have to use the Visual Composer to create your own sidebar, using the Widgetized Sidebar element, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/gTu0uz2x For roe information about sidebar, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/

Hi Catalin
I think I figuerd it out.
I’m using the Visual Composer and if I understand things correctly I can’t use the default sidebar option. I need to add the element “widgetised sidebar” instead, like you described in your answer.

Is that correct?
