Hello Support Team,
I am using the Newspaper Theme and noticed a problem with the social share settings.
In the Theme Panel → Social Share section, only unusual networks are shown (e.g. Naver, Kakao, Gettr, Koo, Flipboard), while the common ones such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Pinterest etc. are missing.
Steps already taken:
Cleared cache and refreshed
Saved the settings again
Disabled/reenabled Social Share option
Unfortunately, the standard networks still do not appear in the list.
Question:
Is this a bug in the current version of the theme, or is there a setting I might have missed? How can I enable the regular social share buttons (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, WhatsApp, etc.) so that they are available in the backend and visible on the frontend?
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards,
Erol Korkmaz

Hi,
That’s an issue that should be fixed starting with the next theme update. But until the update is released, if you want I can fix it on the website so you can use the socials you want. I will need admin login for the website and also access to cPanel, please send these by email at contact@tagdiv.com and I will check as soon as possible. WE are very sorry for this inconvenience.
Thanks.
Hello tagDiv Support Team,
We have encountered the same issue described here.
On our Russian version of the website (using the Newspaper theme), everything works correctly — all standard social share icons (Facebook, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, Pinterest, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) are visible and configurable under Theme Panel → Social Share.
However, on our Kazakh version of the website — which uses the exact same Newspaper theme version and identical configuration — only uncommon networks appear (Naver, Kakao, Gettr, Koo, Flipboard, etc.), while all major ones are missing.
✅ Both sites use separate WordPress installations and separate databases,
✅ The Newspaper theme version is identical on both,
✅ Cache has been cleared, and settings re-saved multiple times.
Could you please confirm whether this issue still persists in the latest release, or if there’s a manual fix available before the next update?
Thank you very much for your help!
Best regards,

Hi,
The fix for the issue with the socials not appearing in the theme panel is to add the code from here https://pastebin.com/NEEaRN0j in the theme functions file. Then check in the theme panel to see if all the socials appear correctly. If they do, remove the code from the functions file. We can do this if you want, we will need admin login for the website and cPanel or FTP.
Or, wait a bit more time until we manage to release the new theme update which should fix the issue permanently.
We are very sorry for this inconvenience. Please let us know if you need help with it.
Thanks.
Hi Calin,
