Today I bought the newsmag theme. But disappointing to note that you have faulty package put up for download which gives error while uploading the theme, message is as you seen below:

Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing ‘style.css’ stylesheet.
Theme install failed.

when checked the blog for support, saw that so many people are facing the same problem, when you know that so many people are facing the same problem, why is it not rectified?
Need urgent support and solution to the above.

Note for others having so many issues …
a) this is not flaw in the theme in any way….
b) when you download theme from ThemeForest, there are two options “theme (newsmag.zip)” or “all files…(newsmag-tf.zip)”
c) the “all files” zip contains docs, changelog, main theme zip, plugins folder, etc.
d) the “theme” zip download is just the theme
e) if you try to install “all files” zip, you will get an error, as it does not have the unzipped theme and so you get the ‘no style sheet’ error.
This is why the install docs clearly mention unzipping the ‘tf’ zip first on your HD and then using the single newsmag.zip file to install:

SO, nothing to rectify, correct, or fix, folks.
