Mixed-Content with Google Fonts

I have seen others post about this topic in the past but I see no clear solution.

Newspaper with Google Fonts enabled is generating http link to google fonts:

I have 100% confirmed this is being generated by Newspaper theme. If I toggle off ‘Use Google Fonts’ in Theme Panel this is not generated.

Can you please correct this, or advise which file this is hardcoded so I can modify manually. Thanks.
