Hi,
From what I can see there are a couple of ad related issues and most other resources that cannot be loaded seem to be blocked by the robots file
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PH9bk8x3
If I test another post on your website it is mobile friendly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/6Udzn1sH
If the resources are loading slow sometimes or are blocked, there will be warnings or the page in question will be declared not mobile friendly

Hi,
I have the same problem for https://www.africargus.com.
When I ran the google mobile friendly test, it seems that some pages (194) are containing errors since March, 27th 2019 :
Clickable elements too close together
Text too small to read
Viewport not set
Before I activated the theme’s mobile plugin, it said that it was unecessary to activate it, because the website was already responsive. However, Google search console was still showing those errors.
When I activated the mobile friendly plugin from Newspaper theme, it only worked on the homepage, not on the rest of the pages.
I thought it was because I didn’t update WordPress to version 5.1.1, (I’m currently using 4.9.8 version), but it seems that those issues are related to the theme in my opinion …
Can you please help me find a solution for my website ?
And how do we insert a meta viewport to take care of these issues ?
If you need more information don’t hesitate
Thanks a lot
Rita

Hi,
I checked your website on mobile, doesn’t look right – http://prntscr.com/nafg9h
The theme already has a viewport meta in the header file – http://prntscr.com/nafgmc
Maybe you removed and forgot about it, that would explain it, as it isn’t there it seems
– http://prntscr.com/nafh47
Try to restore it if possible, not having this meta may have a negative impact for mobile visitors, I can post the code here for convenience
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
Now that you updated wordpress, I should note that using an older theme with the latest wordpress may result in problems.
The theme is officially compatible with wordpress 5 starting with version 9.2
– http://prntscr.com/nafo45 (latest is 9.6.1). A changelog can be seen at the bottom of this page – https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
Thanks
hello, Sir, I have the same problem on my site

Hi,
@manojchak I have tested the website with the mobile friendly tool, everything seems to be in order
– http://prntscr.com/npbxag
The mobile theme is active, so such problems should not happen. The mobile plugin is created specially for mobile, with increased performance in mind. It can also be used with the AMP plugin if you want to – https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Thanks
