there are a couple of issues.
1. When I enable the mobile theme, for both amp and mobile, the homepage, still doesn’t change on mobile.
2. when I go to edit my homepage through the WordPress editor, the editor, is really slow, and slugginsh.
3. Even if I manage to enable the mobile theme option in the edit panel of the home page, post update, the changes don’t take place.

Start looking for a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
