Hi,
I’m having issues with the mobile view of my page.
The main page works on mobile ( https://www.ud5020.com/ ), but a sub-page ( https://www.ud5020.com/august-2021/ ) that filters articles from a specific month… worked, but now it no longer works… it just shows nothing.
I tried the following: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ and it still shows the same view… nothing.
I’m sorry, what can I try?
Thank you!
I event tried: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
And my mobile view of the main page is great, but the mobile view of the August page, is blank.
The editor shows the page the way it should, but…
Hum. What am I missing?
Here is what I’m seeing for the main page: https://www.ud5020.com/content/IMG_9654.jpg
Here is what I’m seeing for the August page: https://www.ud5020.com/content/IMG_9655.jpg
I know this is simple, I have tried everything I can find. Why is one working, and the other one not?
Also, on the mobile menu, how can I remove the sign in option?
Hello!
This issue is because in Mobile theme, you have to recreate your pages using the mobile editor, this is found when editing pages at the bottom of the page: https://www.screencast.com/t/PaGpYD2l
Thank you!
Hi Vlad,
Thank you.
Unfortunately I’m still stumped.
The main page has nothing in this section, and that mobile page works… how is this possible?
I’m sorry… I tried adding something to this section for the new page… and nothing happens.
How does this work?
Sorry…
I was just reading: https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
“If you want to display the same elements on both mobile and desktop, don’t use the mobile theme.”
I’m feeling dumb… I removed the mobile plugin, but I’m still having the issue.
I don’t want to use the mobile theme.
How do I get the mobile view of the new page to match the content I have selected? Just like the main page? How can I just disable the mobile theme allowing the main theme to takeover the mobile design?
Sorry Vlad.
Hi Renreflex,
Don’t quote me on this, but the only way I found to workaround this issue was to install a plugin called “Duplicate Page or Post”
Duplicate the “Home” page (or a page that works on mobile view), once it’s duplicated, rename it, and rename the page slug. Edit the page with tagDiv Composer, and you should be good to go.
I know this isn’t the right way to make a page mobile friendly, but, it worked… so far GULP!
Hello !
In our video guide you can see what are your options for mobile viewport: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY&t=9s
I hope this was helpful!
Thank you!
Unfortunately that doesn’t answer the question 🙁
The main page, looks great in mobile view. I don’t have any mobile plugin active this is just the tagDiv theme, naturally in mobile view. It looks great! The problem… why is it on new pages, they are NOT in mobile view? Why are they showing up like the main page?
I found a workaround, but I don’t think this the right way… how is the main page developing the mobile view and new pages… aren’t?
