I have noticed that my page is loading very slowly on a mobile phone, at least it takes a long time until I can open the menu. Sometimes the page only gets smaller and nothing else happens for a couple of seconds. Is there a way to improve performance without using the mobile plugin? Except for opening the menu I like my site so much better than the one the mobile plugin creates.

The mobile menu will be ready to use as soon as the whole page is loaded fully. If it takes a longer time to load the website the menu might seem to be unresponsive, but as soon as the page is loaded if should function correctly. The better the website loads the quicker the menu will respond.
We have not made any changes in this matter, so it would be the same as it was before.
Same issue here. I have been trying to figure it out myself. I suspect it is an issue with lazy loader as if I scroll down to the bottom of the screen manually it seems to speed up the process I just have not had the time to isolate the issue. If I do I will be sure to post an update.
If anyone has found a solution please let me know.
