Hello, I am using tech news pro as base for the website and I have created mobile pages
As you can see from the links below, I can acces both pages from Desktop and mobile no longer redirects to the main URL.
On mobile all works fine.

Can you let us know how did you edit the redirects ? Are this 2 separate pages or both links should look the same ?

To my knowledge, the mobile page should keep the URL of the Desktop page (calculatorescu.ro/despre/) and it does, but only when is accessed on mobile.
The problem is Google and anyone can access/find the mobile page from desktop with the URL calculatorescu.ro/despre-mobile/
Before the update: calculatorescu.ro/despre-mobile/ redirected to calculatorescu.ro/despre/ if written in browser URL bar (this is correct from SEO point of view to not create duplicate content).

Newspaper Theme does not do any redirects. Those permalinks must have been somehow inserted. Are you using any SEO plugin ? Also you can take a look at the wordpress permalinks: https://uk.godaddy.com/help/reset-permalinks-in-wordpress-26351

I know about permalinks. The problem is that I have one page site.ro/about and another site.ro/about-mobile, same content. about-mobile is created as mobile page connected to about
Both are accessible through browser and it creates duplicate content problems.
Anyway, I have added canonical on site.ro/about-mobile that points to site.ro/about so I won`t have problems with duplicate content with Google index. Its a fix, but not a perfect one.
