What are the options I have ? to make posts look different on mobiles compare to desktops. Is there any load more feature – in which after scrolling certain distance, the user is prompted to click some widget or load more like icon to scroll further down. I ask these questions since i want the mobile site posts to look compact and shorter than desktop version, and the mobile visitors should be shown the whole page only when they want to read more either through clicking any icons or load more feature.

Unfortunately we do not have different versions of the theme for desktop/mobile. The same post you set in the desktop version is going to be shown in the mobile one. You could try to find a plugin that changes the theme on the mobile version but we cannot assure it will work because we have not tested these plugins. If you cannot find a plugin that works, you will need custom modifications to get it done and unfortunately we cannot offer any custom work at the moment. You can hire a freelancer to do it for you if you want from sites like studio.envato.com

I believe adding the above mentioned feature in Newspaper Theme can be a game changer both in terms of design, convenience and seo purpose

I will add this request on our list of updates and hopefully in a future version we will change the mobile version of the theme. The developers decide if it gets done or not though.
