i have tried it in the custom css and doesn’t pic up the css – http://screencast.com/t/SXFUgtnf , http://screencast.com/t/QW7XU5YOA. any advice how i could use media queries in the newspaper theme.

Hi,
Maybe you have to use !important to apply the custom css, for example – http://screencast.com/t/Ub8ryC4Y also make sure that you targeted right. You can provide a link so I can take a look if what I suggested above doesn’t work.
