Mobile Theme

Is there a way to exclude certain pages from the mobile theme?

I need to use the mobile theme to get the correct AMP functionality for posts, but I need some pages to use the responsive theme to maintain plug in compatibility.

Hi,

That will not be possible unfortunately, the mobile theme plugin when activated will apply to the whole website. Maybe with a plugin that can deactivate other plugins on specific pages, I can’t say if that will work or not. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Simion,

Thanks for the reply. I will need to stay on 9.5 for the time being as I need everything to work for AMP as it currently does.

I know you have said that the 9.5 AMP will be deprecated.

Is there a known end date, or will it continue to work until something else breaks it in the future?

Hi,

You could still use the previous theme version and AMP plugin, as to when it will become deprecated or the code in it will become deprecated I cannot say exactly.

You could update the theme and use a different AMP plugin as well. We will add more settings and options for AMP and the mobile theme in future updates, now that they can be integrated together.
