Hi!
When using the mobile theme, there is no possiblity to have the same homepage layout. All other pages work fine, but the homepage is broken. I cannot show you, because I had to shut it off for my visitors not to be bothered by it. How can I fix this?
Kind regards,
Siebren
The same happened to me. After update and AMP installation mobile homepage layout changed to a list of posts. Strange thing is that desktop version of Safari opens my site in mobile version and I don’t know how to change it

Hi,
Please check our new documentation for the new mobile theme from Newspaper 9.6
Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
The mobile layout is different from the desktop layout only the responsive version of theme show the desktop layout on mobile.
@Siebren10
Unfortunately the mobile theme do not take the desktop version, maybe in coming update will be some more option to can make the layout form mobile theme more friendly.
Please provide some more details and some screenshots from were I can see what is the problem.
@grochu
Usually when the mobile version appear on desktop is a cache problem, please make sure that you clear all cache ( we recommend to clear cache after each update ), and try again.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi!
Thank you for your answer, though unfortunately it does not answer my question. When I activate the mobile theme, my homepage (https://www.streamwijzer.nl/) and all other pages (e.g. https://www.streamwijzer.nl/nieuws/ and https://www.streamwijzer.nl/sport/) all do not show any information besides the title of the page. Also, it is not possible to click on the menu. I already tried shutting off plugins etc., but that does not help. How can this be fixed?
Kind regards,
Siebren
Hi Chandan,
Unfortunately we did not tested that plugin with our theme, so we can not say what are the settings, but this is usually a cache problem, clear all cache and the problem should disappear.
Thank you!
Hi Siebren10,

Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Also I check you menu and now is working -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Axctsvt01ms and the content is look normal -> https://www.screencast.com/t/deXJ7eMRXLS
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi Calin,
I understand that the menu works for you now, that is because I do not use the mobile theme at this moment since it makes all those problems. As such, in an earlier post I wrote: I cannot show you, because I had to shut it off for my visitors not to be bothered by it.
Still, clicking the menu does not give any response when the mobile theme is ‘turned on’. How can I fix this?
Kind regards,
Siebren
I think you should test few cache plugin which are very popular many people ask about cache like WP rocket is premium Plugin and I think you should test it.
YOUR USER WILL BE HAPPY IF YOU RECOMMEND WHICH CACHE PLUGIN PERFORM BETTER WITH YOUR THEME.
Even you have not updated the old content related to “HOW TO INCREASE LOADING SPEED” as many things has changed in the theme and in wordpress, I think you update that article also.
Hi @Siebren10,
Please deactivate all non theme plugins, include the one for cache? (the only theme plugins are those -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qVjec1KUm ).
IN the most of the cases this problem is from a plugin.
Thank you!
