I am a new user of the Newspaper theme. One thing that I’ve been trying to do is check to see how my pages and posts appear on mobile devices as I go through the design process. While the mobile devices display my posts in more or less agreeable ways, the controls in the Mobile Theme don’t work at al. Just as an example, I changed all of the backgrounds and text colors and everything else you can select to bright yellow. When I check on a mobile device, nothing shows up in bright yellow. It just shows up as a variation of the desktop color scheme. Help!

The mobile theme colors are controlled from the mobile theme settings, not the desktop theme settings. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/mobile+theme/

I realize this. What I am saying is that when I am making changes in the mobile theme setting nothing is happening. I set everything to yellow and nothing changed.

Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then teat the site again.
