I have updated the Newspaper theme on one of my websites and got a few errors. Especially when I enable the mobile theme plugin, it starts showing a critical error page. Refer: https://www.screencast.com/t/abR9kDQW
Setup:
– WordPress 5.9.
– Newspaper 11.4.1
– PHP 8.0
I tried disabling all non-tagDiv plugins but no luck.

This problem may be due to the code that was introduced in the mobile theme plugin for theme.json
