I know what’s the problem already. I need to activate the plugin from the Network admin, but if I activate it via site specific plugin section, it will trigger error. Problem resolved. Thank you.

I am facing the same issue and I’ve no luck. Emails to contact@tagdiv.com are pending too. Could you let me know which plugins you enabled network wide? Currently everything is working fine for me on desktop, but I get this error on mobile devices with mobile plugin on (pasting it here to ask if you were getting similar error):

this is what I did to overcome the issue. I first deactivated it on that specific site’s plugin page. Then go over to the network admin’s plugin page where you can network activate the plugin, just click on it to network activate it, the mobile page now load perfectly.

You may try it, but I not sure if it works for your case though.

It works that way. Thanks! Tagdiv support should take note.

btw I want to use Mobile theme only for AMP, but now I’m facing an issue where ‘/?amp’ at the end of the URL gives proper mobile theme, but ‘/amp/’ sends a ‘transitional’ copy of the desktop version built from cloud library. Not sure if you had a similar issue, but trying my luck again.

Anyway, I’d repeat that Tagdiv should take note. There are at least 4-5 threads highlighting the same issue, but it wasn’t resolved in any of those. They should figure out why it works when network enabled but fails to work when enabled sub-site wise.

Earlier, I had asked my host earlier why it was not working and they had this to say about the error:

The issue is occurring as the site is requesting for the file -> ‘tagdiv-deploy-mode.php’ inside the directory -> wp-content/themes/themes/Newspaper/ but the directory wp-content has only one subdirectory with the name themes and there are no other sub-directories inside the themes folder with the name -> themes. The additional directory path requesting for the file inside -> wp-content/themes/themes/Newspaper/ instead of wp-content/themes/Newspaper/ is causing the issue.

I’ve the same problem – so my AMP-Sites are not working. When do you fix the error?

Thank you and best regards
Simon

Hello Simon!

Unfortunately, there is no ETA available.

Thank you for understanding!

Hello Bettina,

Thank you for the quick response.

It’s a very critical error, since all AMP-URLs which are indexed are not available anymore. AMP not working if you’re using a mutlisite!

Best regards
Simon

Hi Simon, just network activate all the tagdiv plugins, esp the mobile, composer and cloud library plugins, and it should work.

Hi rahulroushan, thank you for your help! Sadly it don’t work by me, cause everytime I want to change the mobile Theme from “mobile” to “AMP” it don’t save the settings (I use the mobile theme just for AMP). Have you any idea why does the setting always reset?

Post count: 34

Simon, frankly I’m yet to take the changes I made live, but on a staging server, it appears to be working for me i.e. the mobile site is responsive desktop site only, while the mobile theme is used only for AMP. The settings get saved for me so far as staging server is concerned. The setting I’m talking about is Theme Panel –> Mobile Settings –> AMP settings. Are you talking about the same? If so, as I said, at least in the staging environment, the changes are saved for me.

Yes, we’re talking about the same.

So you have done following steps, right?

1. Deactive all TD-Plugins on the site
2. Activate all TD-Plugins on the network
3. Setting on the theme panel on the site: Mobile Theme -> USE MOBILE THEME FOR: -> AMP

That’s right, and the results were as intended. However, the website is not in live environment but in staging.
