Mobile theme search box not working normally. When we click it, it should show search box to type but instead it is redirecting to domain.com/s=
In short, it is showing empty search page. Then we have to put type on that page for search. Help Fast.

I think that you have the live search option disable in newspaper > mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/49qRQUr.png this will display a standard search ( this will display the latest articles too until you insert and search for something).

Hi, Looks like it was the solution. Mobile search box is working again. BUT ajax request means more resources? So there is any other way if we can disable live search without that sliding animation of the search box?

Ok, I read it and found a similar problem. But if you remember, My desktop search box is not working too. Which means it is something related to the theme update.

Since this case only appears for a few users, it can be something that prevent the theme functions to work correctly, maybe you are using some plugins for optimize or security, if yes, make a test disable these plugins, clear all cache and check the results.

About Mobile theme search box: It is the same problem like pratiek said on that different post. We only need animation and not redirect to a search page.

Hello, the search box problem occurs due to the cache. As it is a LIVE search box, the cache breaks its functionality. That’s why we need simple search box.
