Sorry for this but please notice that I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/AkqAHRkOMg6j sorry! Notice that the first steps for debugging WordPress are to disable all of the untested plugins to avoid all of the conflicting plugins. You should roll back to the default theme functionality, remove all of the untested plugins and all of the additional customization which can break the theme, clear all the caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. After this, if the problem is still there, please let us know.

I understand that. I know it would be impossible for you to test with every plugin. Testing with popular NEWS Site Style plugin should be done though as the theme do not provide all the functionality or features a news site would use. I could think of a ton of features that could be implemented.
Anyway thats not what this is about. The problem with that color not carrying over to a mobile device is theme related. I have tested by eliminating ALL plugins with just one click deactivation.
So now that we know its the theme how is it fixed

The email with instructions has been sent. What I did as a temp fix was to:
This is on the main page at the bottom using Block 12. What I have done is in block design options I have added padding of 60px. This makes the green area cover the background area on a phone and tablet. However it creates too much green with blank space on the desktop.
I believe at least this block probably has a piece of code which renders the background color that maybe missing something for responsive display.
Ok, Im finally getting back to this. I have tried everything to get the green color to display properly across all devices. Im lost on getting this corrected and it looks really bad. id like to be aable to use different color backgrounds for different blocks.

Indeed, it seems to be a problem regarding on background with Block 12. We will make some deeper investigations in this case and we will hope to fix it at the new theme update, sorry! Until this moment, you should try using the other block.
