I am using Animal Themes Pro.

I tried enabling sitewide modal images using Theme Panel->Post Settings->General Post Settings->General Modal Image(Enable)
It works now for all posts. But the zoom button isn’t working. The image opens in lightbox modal but cannot zoom. On mobile theme, modal image doesn’t work at all.

Indeed in the last version of the theme on Gutenberg editor, also the zoom effect was not add in modal image.
Also if you have some problem, please make sure that the images had set the link to media file -> https://i.imgur.com/3iJxakZ.png if the problem persist, please provide me a link where I can check these problems.

Yes, I disabled sitewide modal images using Theme Panel->Post Settings->General Post Settings->General Modal Image(Disable) and tried enabling lightbox from the post. Lightbox effect works but there is no zoom. As you have previously said, the zoom effect was not added in modal image. Would it be added in the next update?
Anyways, I have achieved zoom on images using the plugin “WP Image Zoom”.

Yes, I have seen that zoom effect work on my site, but there is no further zoom which I thought there would be.
Anyways, I have achieved zoom on images using a plugin.
