Modal images lightbox is not working on images and gallery

Strange thing that is driving me nuts. On my development server the global setting for modal images worked fine. Live it stopped working. It doesn’t add the td-modal-image class anymore to images. When i manually set the lightbox in the article backend for a single image it works? But not the gallery.

What can be wrong?

Hi dracbart,
Do you have the same settings on live website like on the staging that should work. Just make sure that you have set the link to “Media File” -> https://i.imgur.com/3q9BvRW.png
Thank you!

Yes,

We use exactly the same settings. But the class ‘td-modal-image’ is not beeing added to the <a href link on live. It is in dev. Also the featured images on top of the posts are not getting the class.

The strangest thing is that it only happens on newly added posts, after the upload to live. The older images, that came from dev are working fine.

My live site is: https://www.motor.nl

Regards,

Bart

I found the answer. There was interference with the Imagify plugin. The Webp settings changed the img tag to picture. That doesn’t work. After changing the setting’s to htacces redirect the td-class-modal works again.

Hi dracbart,
I’m using Imagify and in the frontpage don’t show any image as webp. I think the problems is the same that you had. I’m using Ngnix with Apache. What modification you did in .htaccess?

Best regards,

Hi serambca,
I think that this article can help you -> https://imagify.io/documentation/my-images-are-broken/
Thank you!

Hi Serambca,

Just choose the first option in the imagify settings: use rewrite rules. Imagify will do the rest for you (change the .htaccess). The images must work then..

I tried to do this and don’t work.
All that inside in class style don’t server to webP. The images in src for example are server fine.
I don’t know how to solve this.

For example this class: entry-thumb td-thumb-css tdi_34 have style=background-image and url to png and don’t change to webp….

I hope you can help me…

Best regards,
Sergio
