Most downloaded plugin is not compatible…why ?

I’m trying to use the biggest table content plugin (Table of Contents Plus) in a cloud template but it is not working at all, not appearing even though my Table of Contents Plus widget is active. I understand you don’t provide support for non tested plugin, but let me then ask you what is the alternative plugin you recommmend to create a Table of content in a customized cloud template sidebar ?

As a newspaper theme, I can’t imagine you could not provide the name of a working and compatible table of content plugin.

Well the tag sitemap, as stated, will basically make a list of all pages. This is not the point here.

This plugin creates automatically a table of contents based … on your content.
This plugin has a special “table of contents widget” that has to be added in a sidebar. The problem is that when it’s added as a sidebar in a cloud template, your theme removes it and nothing is processed.

How to reproduce the bug : Widget > sidebar > TOC, then add it in an article with H1, H2… and you’ll see the cloud template does something that classic templates don’t.

Any idea how you could fix it on your end ?

After adding this widget to the proper sidebar, I added the widget sidebar in cloud template. Nothing appears, widget is not loaded.

Thanks for investing time to find a solution.
You are right it works with a shortcode. It requires a bit more css tuning but it works and that’s was the goal.
