Is there a way I can create a section which will list the most read news of the day. Kindly see the below screenshot for a sample, this is a section from the Washington Post.

Yes, notice that you can use any block you want and sort it by Popular posts which display you all the posts which were most viewed. Before this, notice that you should have active the post view counter. If you will check the Block Settings like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/w0MB18ATU4, here you will see all the sorting ways available for our blocks. You can choose the Popular all time in your case and you will bring most read posts but all the time and not in the last 24 hours, because the theme does not have any such an option for it, sorry!

I’m sorry but please notice that we cannot recommend any plugin with this functionality because we have no tests anyone in this case, sorry! Try it by yourself and check the results.

Can you at least give a good reason why after all these years the theme still does not have the option to display most popular posts by 24hrs? Having to install another plugin to achieve this does not make any sense, unless like I asked, you provide a very very good reason so you can shut me up 🙂

Sorry but please notice that at the moment, does not exist any kind of plugin which was tested with the theme and which works as expected with it. You should try to find such a plugin, teste with our theme and check if you bring good results.
