Multilanguage and TagDiv Mobile Theme

Hello All

We use Qtranslate-x very well in desktop and tablet versions

However, we installed the TagDiv mobile plug in and it shows the mobile theme only on one language. When we change the language, mobile theme switches back to desktop version.

Is there any way to fix this?

Hi,

The mobile theme plugin may not work properly in that situation. If everything works perfectly on desktop, maybe it would be better to simply deactivate the mobile plugin. This plugin is optional, and the main theme is fully capable to display the best results on mobile devices due to it’s responsive design.

Thanks

Hello Simon

Thank you for your reply.

The reason we are trying to use mobile theme plugin is that it offers additional banner areas specifically to be used in the mobile theme.

Our current design uses HMTL codes for banner areas and they don’t look as good as it is in the mobile theme.

We want to use additional banners only for mobile version.

Any idea will be appreciated!

Thank you

Hi Simion. If it doesnt work like you said, can you suggest me anything for the alternative below?

On our web site, we do use some special ad codes for banner areas. But it doesn’t go responsive on mobile.

The bannser lik img src + some additional tracking code

The banners looks good on desktop but for the mobile its too big. I couldn’t fix that with the page builder’s responsive adjustments.

Hi,

You could use other ads on mobile, then on desktop. Please check this guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
You can display different ads depending on the device, each optimized for the instance they will appear.

Thanks

I tried what you mentioned simon.

It works; partly.

Still the images are not mobile friendly. I use 3 difrerent ads in 1 row. Each block carrying 1 custom ad but on the mobile version they’re not placed next to each other. It lists them from top to bottom.

Hi,

If the row is split in three columns, these columns will be displayed one below the other on smaller devices

They could be made to be displayed next to each other, if that is what you want. In this example I added a custom class to the row containing three ads
https://www.screencast.com/t/qHoLuXJx2j
Then used a code like this in Theme panel->ADvanced CSS in the phones section

The columns will be displayed next to each other, not below. Please correct me if I misunderstand something.

Thanks
