I would want to know if it is possible to have only select post to display in the Big Grid Slider (Like tagging a particular set of post, like the most popular post in the past one month or so).

I have set the multiple categories with the appropriate Category IDs has it is shown in this screenshot but it is still not displaying in the homepage.

The Question is two:
1. The Big Grid Slider: Is it possible to select some particular post I want to show on the slider.
2. I want to set a multiple category in a particular block that is for example: The Scholarships block should show sub categories such as undergraduate, postgraduate, phd etc
