Multiple flex blocks issues on single page

I’m customizing the single (detail) page.
I bumped into these issue yesterday and today.

1) After adding a flex block (1) in the sidebar (column set to sticky) it started to flicker when it reaches the point of the next fleck block (1) in a full width row below.

2) I’ve been rebuilding the whole page from scratch all day. Now when I have already a flex block (1) in the sidebar, and I add a few more at the bottom each in their own row with a full width, they show correctly in the builder, but not in the resulting page.

3) I copied some elements from the original single page (Gossip Pro) on another page. The gray author/date box is showing up on the mobile viewport, even though it’s nowhere in the builder on any viewport….

Are there any issues about reusing the same type of element?

Hello Chris!

1. When you add an element to the TagDiv Composer, it loads and then displays where you added it.

2. Provide some screenshots or a video, please.

3. Some elements are not working as they do in a single template. But common elements can be copied and pasted on another page, or you can save the element/entire row.

Thank you!

Actually, I had lots of strange behavior.
I’m in Developer mode, no caching, no page caching or anything else.

I’ve had a page looking good and updating in the builder.
But the published version does not reflect the changes.

It was fixed after I duplicated the template, renamed that and used in instead.
That was late last night.

Today I continued on the template.
The issue is with TAGS on the single page. It was showing correctly on desktop.
When looking on the published page, it was not visible on the non-desktop viewports.

They are not hidden. All shows as “Show”. I tried “Block” to no avail as well.
They show well in the builder, not published.

I tried duplicating the template as before. No go this time. It seems that there is a bug somewhere in the page causing problems.

I just added a bright green background on another element of the page. It is no longer updated on the published template.

It seems like once again I have to start from a clean template and hope I can save and reuse some of the layout elements I’ve been working on this week.

Can you reach out to me by email so I can provide you with login info so you can troubleshoot where the bug is?

The single page has been a painful experience so far…

Hello Chris!

If in the TagDiv Composer it’s showing the right thing in the frontend is wrong, then something is interfering with the composer’s modification. Can be a caching tool that you are using, a plugin, or some configurations. Please check the console as well. Check the errors you have and solve them.
If the problem is still there, then you can contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin URL and credentials
– cpanel URL and credentials
– a concrete example of what you did and it was not working as expected
– a link to this topic in order to identify you

Thank you!
