I like to have multiple images as background with an fading effect between images. Example:

I think it is not possible via default Newsmag options. Can this be made with some simple changes or via plugins?

Our theme was designed to use a single background image, not multiple images with a slide effect. Changing this implementation requires many customizations and tests to achieve a very good rezult.
We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.
I can recommend any plugin which could do this job as we didn’t tested a plugin with a similar functionality and I cant say how such a plugin will work with our theme.
