When I add a post it defaults to posted by admin. I Want to show the name of the author, how can I accomplish this?

I changed the background and text color of the trending now ticker. When I mouse hoover the background changes color. How can I stop that?

The post will get the username of the person that is logged in and hits the publish button. If the admin does so, then the admin will be the author.

So there is no what to change the author name? We have multiple adds that we want to rotate in header, footer and slider positions. Is there a way to add multiple adds to those positions?

You can change the author from the post settings or in the bulk edit for more posts at once: http://screencast.com/t/E4vZWNW8t
As for the ads, our theme has no such options, but you could use the ‘adrotate’ plugin.
