My H5 tags display Roboto when I’m editing a blog posts now. This is all H5 text on all blog posts. They appear to display properly when viewing them on the website though. Did something change?

I didn’t change the H5 setting in the theme.

Hi,

In the backend editor the default fonts will be loaded, only when previewing the post or after publishing it your fonts will apply.

So for the editor headings the Roboto font is predefined and used

Then what is the purpose of the default fonts section in the settings?

Maybe I am misunderstanding something. All the theme font settings are for the frontend, the default fonts are mentioned here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/

So for example the font you set here in the theme panel for the h5
https://www.screencast.com/t/en27xKPLn
That font will not apply in the backend

It will to the published post – https://www.screencast.com/t/7n4N5pOgft

If I am not understanding something properly, please correct me.

So you are using additional font settings, probably that is the TinyMCE Advanced plugin. The most important thing to ask would be what font is eventually used in the actual published post, the theme panel font or the plugin font? That plugin may override the theme panel setting.

The font displayed when in the post edit screen is hard coded in the theme stylesheet as I mentioned above, it will be always be Roboto. There are no settings to change that.

In the backend the font used would be unimportant, you can always preview the post and see how the fonts selected in the theme panel look.

You’re right. This didn’t use to happen so the plugin must have changed something.

Thanks for the help.
