My new favicon doesn't show up

Hello!

I’ve changed my favicon at HEADER / LOGO & FAVICON / FAVICON.
I think the image complies all the requirements (16×16, not in png). However, my browser is still showing the old favicon.
I’ve deleted navigation data, but the problem persists.

Someone who can help me?

Hi,

I could take a look at it, please post a link to the website. There are a few cases when the theme panel favicon would be overridden. For example if there is an image set in the wordpress customizer – http://prntscr.com/o1o371
Or if there is a favicon icon (favicon.ico) on the server in the main root folder
– https://stackoverflow.com/questions/16650930/put-favorite-icon-outsite-the-web-site-root-folder
Like in my case – http://prntscr.com/o1o51w
These will have priority over the theme favicon, so it may not apply.

I suggest that you check in the wordpress customizer first

If there is an icon there, remove it.
