Need a section for submitting stories by visitors

Hi,

I have to create a section for submitting stories by the visitors of the website. Meaning, I have to make a section which invites visitors to submit their stories to be published on the website.

Can you please guide what are the ways available in Newspaper theme to achieve this?

You would need to use a third party form plugin which allows creation of posts from a submitted form; which is not part of the theme.

I understand creation of post from submitted form is not part of theme.

Can I create a contact form 7 or any other form which the theme supports through which the visitors can submit their stories? And I shall post them manually using my own login?

Hello,

You can try to use a contact form and then retrieve the content from the form submission, but I;m not sure about the limitation you will encounter using this method. You will have to run a few tests and see if this will work out as planed or if there are limitations users will face. We have not tested CF7 in this scope.
