Hi Support!
First, here is my Configuration for better explaining:
Theme NewsPaper, User PRO Plugin
In WordPress I set following: Comments Enabled just for LoggedIn Users
So now my scenario: As I have disabled Comments for unregistered Users I ran into the Trouble cause the Login of my Website is handled sitewide by User Pro (here I have a redirection to my own Login/Registering Page which is for Login/Registering via WordPress itself and the Inbuilt UserPro Social Login).
Here I have a now Troubles because the NewspaperTheme has it´s own function by opening a Modal Window for Login. But I need the original Code way from WordPress where normally I would get to the WordPress Login Page (wp-login.php) …in other words the inbuilt function from WordPress so that my UserPro Plugin is able to set the redirection to my Login Page so that my Users are able to Login in with their Social Accounts.
How can this be done? This is really urgent!
And here is my suggestion for one of the next Updates of thhis perfect Theme:
##.) To have the possible to enable/disable the Modal Login in Theme Settings
By the Way – further Suggestions for enhance the Newspaper Theme:
a.) Nav Menu roles Plugin
I use at my site the Nav Menu Roles to manage the the Menu to hide different Menu Items like: Login / Register (when the User is already LoggedIn) or Log out when the User has not been registered or LoggedIn at my site. A function like this would be a great enhancement within the Newspaper Theme!
b.) WP Live Comments Validation
Thes WP Live Comments Validation works at my site to prevent the User to see a blank page if he don´t fill out the Cooments Form successfully. Here I suggest to have a Function like this in one of the next Newspaper Updates.
But my first Question have priority an I hope you can help me to resolve this Issue with the Modal Login in WordPress Comments. I described my problems a well as I could do so that you understand me. Sorry, my native Language is German 😉
Thank´s for your reply
With best Regards, Karl
Hi
Not sure where you want to use the default WordPress login. In case you want to use it in top menu instead of theme’s login widget it’s need to edit top-menu.php file like here: http://screencast.com/t/WiUd4Y7q2jb – http://screencast.com/t/VEO9YoHxYvkP Also make sure you have the top bar enabled: http://screencast.com/t/DAKKwJwQ
If you want to use it in comments section when user must log in, must modify the comments.php file like here: http://screencast.com/t/9PyoRjy4
You can check this topic about User Pro implantation, maybe you will find some useful information: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/incorporate-userpro-plugin-into-loginsign-in-topbar/
Regarding to your suggestions I’ve added them all on our feature request list and the developers will consider them for future theme’s updates.
Thanks!
Hi Andrei,
Sorry, for confusing you with my bad English. I meant the Comments Section.
But with your Reply I found a very simple Solution which does exact what I Need. And without the Need of replacing CodeSnippets in the Theme 🙂
By just deactivating the “Show SignIn/Join” in Newspaper Theme TopBar I got it like I want it to work.
I discovered that the “Show SignIn/Join” Modal Open Window Function handles also the Comments Section with the Modal Opening Function in the Template.
Maybe the Modal open Window for Login/Join could be seperated in future Updates of the Theme like:
a.) Enable/Disable – Show SignIn/Join – for TopBar
b.) Enable/disable – Show SignIn/Join – for Comments Section (if disabled here, the Original WordPress Code is working (in same way as for now when disabling the SignIn/Join Function in TopBar) and other Plugins like UserPro can do the Job with Registration/Login by Redirection Function to the Register/Login Page)
So the Owner of the Website has more variations without the Need of manipulating the NewsPAper Theme Code. Just my two Cents 😉
For me personally this Modal Open function is not neccesery cause I´m not a really Fan of it. Because of the fact that Mobile Handys showing the Modal Windows differently and sometimes if a User zoom in a Page the Modal Window are going invisible in some Scenarios.
With best Regards,
Karl

Hi
Glad I could help you.
We appreciate your suggestions, I’ve added them on our list and will consider it for future updates. We plan adding new features in the next theme’s updates, but must choose carefully as we have over 250 features requests on our list, and the user always must get what is best from us.

Hi Andrei… I understand your reasons and your firm politics. I´m sure there are hundreds of Suggestions. This is in fact cause of the professional Work you do. Thousands of Buyers can not be wrong 😉
And my suggestions have no priority. I think you know best which Things can be integrated for this Theme in Future Updates.
I have One more Suggestion:
To have the ability to select in the different Categories the Color of the Article Title like it is possible for the Category Name itself or the Color Page Background.
With best Regards from Austria,
Karl
