I really want to love this theme but there seems to be so many limitations to achieving what I want our site to look like. Questions/problems below
1. We are currently using Big Grid Full 3 for our feature stories. At first, there was a gradient over the blocks that I didn’t look as it made the images appear dark. I removed the gradient, but now the white text blends in with most of our images so I’m left with trying to find darker images for the white text. I need to know how to achieve the following:
3 full blocks across the top of the page that will allow clear photos and either black text OR the text underneath the grid. Here is the link to our site for reference: https://www.crushmagazineonline.com/
How can I achieve this?
Also, are there future updates planned that will allow users to choose a font color?
2. How can I add a full size video to the homepage?
3. Is it possible to create the big block similar to the block on this site: https://www.womenshealthmag.com/. I am not trying to create the exact block but I do like how the article title is positioned on the box.

1. The default grid style (all grids) does have a darker gradient over the bottom part of the image, I believe this is to make the post title and meta more visible when lighter images are used

Anyway you could remove it with some CSS if not required, or maybe change the style of the grid

Since you removed it, what would you like to do now with the grid exactly? I will try to help you.
You can use any of the grids, full grids and blocks in that page. Choose the ones you like. For the article title colors I could give you a code once you choose the elements you want to use.
I believe there are plans to add a color setting for the article titles in modules, in a future update.

3. Maybe that look could be achieved with the flex blocks. Those blocks are not predefined, so they can be set to display in many ways. With their settings and maybe some additional CSS you could get that result or similar.
