I’ve added this above my Adsense code, but it won’t render.
“sponsored links<br>
my ad code is here”
I did this in the theme panel under ads, then in the place for in article ad and above article ad.
The ad shows up fine, but Google requested that I label the ads for compliance. Google wants our ads, if mixed in with articles, to be labeled appropriately so they’re not confused as content. May want to add that option for the in/above/below article ad spots, just as a means of safeguarding ourselves from running into Adsense issues.
Is there a custom code or CSS I can use to do this? If so, can someone share the exact code for me? I don’t really know CSS too well.

Unfortunately it will not work that way as the ad box does not accept custom code. This modification will have to be made in the theme files like this topic suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/add-the-text-advertisment-in-inline-header-ads/

I check those links and read that changes will be lost if the theme is updated. So this is only a temporary fix.
On the next update, can you consider putting in an optional title above Adsense? This will help us remain in compliance.
It just has to be a tiny text saying one of their preferred statements such as “advertisement” or “sponsored links”.
I’ve already received a warning from them, so want to make sure there’s a permanent fix.
I’m sure there’s others who might need this too.

At the moment this is the only way until we are able to provide a setting for this. I will pass this information on to the development team and hopefully we will be able to provide such an option in a future version of the theme.
