We are going to start selling ad space on our site for local businesses. How do we add these into our Newspaper site? The only thing I see is ad space from Google. We basically just want to advertise a basic image and link it back to a customer site etc.

Use the custom ad box and just use normal HTML like olden days. See the theme docs on how to use the advertising panel 🙂
