Hi,
I currently have installed WP Maintenance Mode plugin on the main page, which will be visible during the construction time of the site. I would like to build a portal and when it’s ready I will show it to the world officially. Can I develop it this way or is it a better solution to build site use Newspaper an subdomain page and then upload everything on the main domain? Maybe you have another idea?

Is better to use a backup ( Test ) site in order to see how the changes you want can affect your website, After that you can export your data into the new website.
