new to newspaper, can I skip visual composer and just start with tagdiv composer

Hi,

I’ve new to the newspaper theme, I’ve just started exploring with it. Can I simply not bother with visual composer and simply work on tagdiv composer?

Also, I’ve seen the video on tagdiv composer, the one where it took a few minutes to create a webpage… but I couldn’t figure how to get turn on tagdiv composer, how do I do this? The video simply start with the tagdiv composer turned on and ready to create.

Hi,

That is the recommended and main page builder in the theme, the tagDiv composer. Our composer will improve more over future updates, as it has up to this moment. There are many more new features to come.
Visual composer is still provided in the package as an optional page builder.

Once you activate the tagDiv composer plugin (it should be already active)

All you have to do is to create a new page and start buiding

The tagDiv composer had more elements (multi-purpose) added by a separate multi-purpose plugin. In the latest theme update the additional plugin was removed and those elements are all available in the tagDiv composer plugin.
