Hi, just building new site with the local news demo. How do I add new pages eg About, Contact etc and make them show in the menus? I’ve created the page titles in the WP Pages dashboard but they don’t show up in the menus.
Ditto for Categories. I want to replace all the category titles with my own, have created the categories in the WP Posts>categories dashboard but they don’t show in the menus either.

OK, I worked it out. You go outside the Newspaper dashboard into the main WP one and go to Appearance > Menus and figure it out from there. Now just need to find out how to get which categories/page links working with each type of menu. Hope this is helpful to somebody else.

Maybe if you could provide some more specific information, I could give you a more accurate response. You could post some screenshots of the elements you are referring to, that would be helpful as well.
I believe we covered menus where you can add your own categories or desired menu items. And blocks in which you can display your own posts and categories, rename the blocks etc.

So I want to change the top panel to automatically populate with my latest posts. How do I do this?
Then I want the next panel (currently Business) to be titled eg Online, the one below that (Lifestyle Today) to be eg Case Studies. How do I change these titles so that new posts automatically populate these categories?
The other issue I have is that I have a large white space in my widgets bar on the right between the ad at the top and the image widget. How do I get rid of this?

Block titles can be changed for each block

Changing a block title will not affect the content displayed in the block. This can be changed in the filter tab as well.
The ajax filter displayed on top of the blocks can be configured for each block

If you want particular categories to be displayed there, you can enter IDs in the filed below (category IDs can be seen here for example)

Re the sidebar, there are currently three other widgets in it under the ad box. You probably didn’t scroll down far enough because of the very white space I was talking about! There are a td image widget, a latest posts widget and a categories widget. I tried to drag another element into the empty space under the ad but it wouldn’t accept it? The ad widget doesn’t show in the WP widgets control panel, though. I loaded the code via the td theme panel.

Sidebars on pages can be set in two ways. First split the row like this for example

Next either drag elements directly in the resulting sidebar, or drag a widget sidebar element and select from your available widget sidebars

OK, think I’ve almost got to grips with how widgets work, will persevere.
One last question, if I might trouble you. I want to change the font for the TITLES of all the posts wherever they appear to sentence case instead of Uppercase. I’ve done it for the posts themselves but I can’t, for the life of me, work out how to change the titles where they appear on the homepage, in widgets etc. Thanks again for all your time.

The block and widget titles font properties can be customized in the theme panel. This setting will make the block and widget titles lowercase if that is what you want

Not too worried about the post titles, have changed most of them apart from the top grid.
