Hi!
Before I upgraded to Newspaper 6 I had a news slideshow that I really loved (see attached image). Now after I have upgraded I use another system (see attached image) but I still would like to have the same “slideshow effect”. In other words, a user can press on a “next” arrow button and see more news which can be organized by category by the admin.
How do I do that? Cheers!
Ok, i have an update. I have found that the slider hasn’t disappeared but just changed name. I did change it and it works but now I have a problem.
On Newspaper 4 I could separate and isolate categories per slide. The same does not happen on Newspaper 6 – or else I am missing something.
The objective is to have two slides with the 4 latest news on each. The 4 latest news shall be “News” category on the first slide and “Sport” category on the second. I have inserted the wished categories’ ID number on the slider specs but instead the slider is just mixing up all news from those categories.
How to solve this?

Another update, just to leave no doubts. On the Big Grid Slide there is the following message:
“A single category filter. If you want to filter multiple categories, use the ‘Multiple categories filter’ and leave this to default”
The default is the “All categories”, I did leave it as is.

That is exactly what I did but my point is that on Newspaper 4 the Big Grid Slider was showing news from a category per slide. Example, slide 1 with only news from the category A. Slide 2 with only news from category B. That is not happening any longer. Instead the news are mixed along both slides. How can i solve this?

In version 4 Big Slider had not this option that on slide 1 to show articles only from a category and on slide 2 another category. Well, that was odd 🙂 For some reason the Big Slider was working like that on version 4. The bottom line is that your tag usage tip worked. Weird that it did not work with the category filter though.

Sorry but I got some bad news. The Big Slider was working as wished yesterday. Today i wrote some new articles and the slider mixed news from all the filtered tags again :/

Unfortunately theme doesn’t have such an option to filter articles per slide. You cannot achieve this without custom work, sorry!
