News Ticker

The News Ticker could be quite useful build in the theme – but it only scrolls text , no custom text – aka news or updates. I know after the major update there are many things to be addressed ( thank you for all the efforts ) , but it would have been amazing if the News Ticker could be used to scroll news .

Also as a semi-related question, how would we change the Color of the Title background color to make it stick out more?

Yes, would love to be able to add custom text to the News Ticker.

I think he and I were wanting to be able to add custom text to the Newsticker.

For instance.. Instead of just “Blog Title”

We can put..

“Today Only – $10 Off Any Order Over $100” with a choice to pick URL

Yes @hhealth displaying article titles is not really news. With custom text that reads like for example ” See the newest film of ….” and link to the article , or ” We are currently upgrading your experience “…etc.

Newsticker should have a custom text an the option to link to a articel !
