news ticker disappeared after inserting widget

my news ticker disappeared after i placed a weather widget nearby. i have since added a new one but the old one left a skinny black line where it used to be. i don’t know how to fix this. any help would be appreciated.

Hello !

Please make sure that your work with calm with Newspaper Theme. Also you can revert to your modifications by using CTRL + Z when the tagdiv Composer is open. Please note that you will have to wait a few seconds in order to see the change.

it’s been a week and i still have a black line where the ticker used to be. i inserted it again because it disappeared and left a black line and now i see the ticker but for the past week there is a black line underneath it.
