Newsletter plugin is breaking mobile theme

So, I followed this method to create the newsletter signup page: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-newsletter-plugin/

This page is working fine on desktop but on mobile, it is showing “The site is experiencing technical difficulties.”

Please let me know what can be the problem and how to fix it.

Hi,

I think that this problem is because you set the code for newsletter from desktop page on mobile editor.
Please set in the mobile editor the code that you get from mail-chimp in text editor -> https://www.screencast.com/t/wzqONco5 or deactivate the mobile theme plugin.

I pasted direct HTML in mobile section and it’s working now.

But I’m facing one more problem.

How can I add custom javascript for mobile themes including <script> tags?

Hi,

If you want to use some JavaScript on mobile theme you need to set the code in Theme panel>Mobile theme>Custom code> custom JavaScript -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5YVlwPJQZcj7

I found it but it’s written there that <script> tag should not be included and my code requires <script> tag as my source is external.

Please let me know if there is any other way.

Thank you can insert the code in Theme panel>Mobile theme>Analytics there you can set the code using the <script> tags.
