I’m using Newspaper vers 12. TagDiv newsletter plugin has never really worked for me. I have followed the instructions as best I could and accessed my MailChimp account for the embed code. Put the embed code on the Newspaper Newsletter plugin, it’s as non-reactive as dead. What can I do? We probably need a video demo of the configuration step-by-step.

I have the latest Newspaper version 12.6.8. I have also a free account with MailChimp.
I have used Composer to place the Newsletter element on my page, then I have gone to collect the Embed code from my MailChimp account, placed it on the Embed Code/Feedburner window of my Newsletter plugin, and selected of course MailChimp. But nothing the element stays the same.
This has been the problem for many years. I thought the newer versions of Newspaper would make the difference.
Newsletters would have been a vital aspect of my customer engagement, but sadly it’s one of the missing links with Newspaper Theme, as far as I can tell.
We probably need a video of the setup, because I have followed your tutorial step-by-step to no avail.

Please provide a video. Also, you can set the code in column text and set the code there.
A shortcode can be inserted also by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with title”. “Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open, and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.
