Hi,
I just noticed that when you leave a required field (email address) blank when clicking the subscribe button, a “this field is required” error does not appear, but rather a new page/tab opens with a mailchimp full signup form that includes all the fields (email, first name, last name, b-day, and mailchimp link).
Is there a way to show the error on the form or at least open a mailchimp page/tab with my selected fields (email only).

Unfortunately, there is no setting for that and this will require custom work which is not covered by the support team.

Custom work??? Maybe this “warning” should have been part of the plugin to begin with. If the viewer does not fill in the required field and clicks the subscribe button, why wouldn’t there be a prompt/warning for him to complete the field? ALL other newsletter signup solutions add a warning. How could you guys have overlooked this?
